Our WxFix mobile weather app is the initial expression of an end-to-end platform solution that combines proven military-derived 21CSI decision support software technology with innovative patent-pending geo-location software technology, and the best location-based ensemble weather forecast data available, to a provide our customers with total mobile weather app “”awesomeness.”

Eelios has a solid team to execute its vision of changing the way people think about how and where they get precise geo-located, personally relevant weather information. Our Team

Meet our Êelios team. They bring together a cadre of highly motivated players who are up to the task of building a successful startup software startup. With combined experiences in mobile client and back-end engineering and development,  wireless telecommunications enterprise engineering, commercial scalability test & QA engineering, and software technology commercialization, they maintain a singular focus on executing the Êelios vision of deploying “Lifestyle Weather” app solutions for mobile consumers. They also believe passionately in the ideal of entrepreneurship, and the fundamental exuberance of bringing new technology to the marketplace and seeing it catch on. Hey, this stuff’s supposed to be fun… It is fun!

Dave Andersen, our CEO, is former COO of 21st Century Systems Inc. (21CSI), Eelios’s parent company. Dave has over 16 years of executive and business leadership experience in developing and managing advanced decision support system projects in support of 21CSI’s government and commercial customers, including overall P&L responsibility. He is a former active duty Navy carrier fighter aviator, and retired from the Navy Reserve with the rank of Commander. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a BA in Political Science. Dave is married with three kids, and is into spending time with his family, hunting, swimming, acoustic guitar, Husker football, and cars.

Jim Maury, our COO, is a former senior systems engineer at 21st Century Systems Inc.(21CSI), and senior strategic programs engineer for mission critical programs for the US Government with agencies such as NSA, NASA and NRO. His combined 20+ years of large-scale communications technology project  engineering and product management leadership experience in IT and mobile telecom platforms, provide invaluable direction in our product development and partnering efforts. Jim is married with two children, and is into golf, basketball, camping & hiking with his family, and muscle cars.

Hasani Hunter, Client Engineering. Hasani has over 10 years of professional software development experience ranging from full custom application development and design, UI design, and back end processing to the creation of his own open source framework (http://gda.googlecode.com). An experienced and versatile engineer, he has developed custom software and served in network/system administration roles for numerous companies, including HP, Compuware, Sogeti, Union Pacific Railroad, Election Systems and Software, Comoretel and 21st Century Systems, Inc. Hasani is an avid JAVA and Mac developer with a passion for developing compelling user interfaces. An entrepreneur in his own right, this led him to co-found I.COM LLC, specializing in mobile software development, most notably for the iPhone. In his spare time Hasani enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball and PS3 gaming.

Kyle Campos , Test Engineering. Kyle has over 10 years of professional experience in developing, testing, delivering and supporting custom software for industry-leading companies such as Openwave Systems, BioIQ and 21st Century Systems, Inc. He has led testing, installation and integration support teams for software products in use by millions of consumers worldwide. Kyle is recognized as being in the forefront of the Ruby automation community by developing a Ruby automation framework and becoming a contributor to open source testing utilities. Kyle enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, coaching his son’s soccer team and playing Wii Lego Star Wars. He also writes music and plays guitar, and runs a music blog at www.OurRisingSound.com.

Ted Post, Server Engineering. Ted has over 25 years of professional software development experience, including 12 years spent developing internal products for large companies such as RCA, GE and United Technologies, where he engineered semiconductor manufacturing processes through the use of statistical monitoring and analysis techniques implemented in enterprise software systems. After leaving the semiconductor business Ted began focusing on small companies with great ideas and leading edge concepts. His first product, a statistical analysis system focused on design of experiments, is still in use today by a variety of companies and users worldwide.  Ted later returned to developing enterprise-level software, this time for Intelliden, to design and develop their core software product. Ted and others from Intelliden hold 13 patents derived from this core work which centers on the ability to extract and model networks and their devices with XML.  The techniques and lessons learned with this product along with the zeal to focus on a new and exciting software products is what brought Ted to 21CSI and Eelios. Ted has a BS in Computer Science and Statistics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. When not working, Ted enjoys spending his time with his family (including his dog), and is an avid golfer.
